Radiology Technologist

The Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a FT opening for a Radiology Technologist.

We are seeking a team player who is a graduate of a Radiology Technology program with a current license in the State of Nebraska, as well as a current BLS certificate. Previous experience with a hospital or physician’s office, and a thorough knowledge of x-ray equipment, electrocardiogram, non-stress testing, tympanogram, audiogram and spirometry preferred. Must be willing to help out with other office duties, such as prior authorizations, medical record releases, etc.

 

Medical Receptionist

The Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a FT opening for a Medical Receptionist. Experience and CMA preferred, but will train the right person.

Responsible for providing superior, high-volume service in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a team player who is able to multi-task in our busy office. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting copays, and checking patients in and out. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA or Associates preferred; One year experience, preferably in a health care setting.

 

Certified Billing and Coding Specialist

The Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a FT opening for a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical coding required. CPC and CCS certification preferred. Responsible for providing superior, high-volume service in a fast-paced environment. Certified Medical Assistant

Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, is growing! We currently have a full-time opening for a Certified Medical Assistant. This position aids the physicians and providers in maintaining patient flow and provides nursing assistance to providers, patients, and their families. Applicants must be a graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience or training; certification is preferred. Must be a registered Medication Aide, as well as have BLS certification. Prefer at least one year of previous experience in a physician’s office.

Family Medicine Faculty Physician

Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership is looking for a Board Certified Family Medicine physician interested in becoming a full-time faculty member.  No previous faculty experience is necessary, simply a desire to teach.  Compensation and benefits are very competitive. Workload, call schedule, and hours are also very reasonable. 

We are a highly competitive community-based 8-8-8 program affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  We house a full-service family medicine clinic and behavioral health center.

Teaching duties include supervising resident physicians in the delivery of the full range of family medicine services.

Our Benefits

Lincoln Medical Education Partnership offers excellent benefits listed below. These benefits are based on full-time status. Part-time employees are eligible for some benefits on a prorated basis.

Voluntary Short-Term Disability Plan is available (no company contribution.)

401(k) Retirement Plan 2% discretionary profit sharing, with a Safe Harbor Match up to 4% of compensation after 3 full months of service, for a total of up to 6% from the company.

Paid Professional CEUs: For employees requiring licenses and/or certifications, LMEP will pay most associated fees for Continuing Education Units and dues to keep those current.  

Employee Assistance Program: Services by an external EAP are available to all employees and their immediate family members. The full cost of the EAP is paid for by LMEP. Services are completely confidential and in no way will affect job security.  

Section 125 Flexible Benefits Plan: Employees may elect to participate in a Flexible Benefits Plan that allows them to pay for group insurance premiums, dependent care, and non-reimbursed medical expenses with pre-tax dollars.  

Bereavement Leave: Employees can take up to three days for immediate family.  

Wellness: LMEP is focused on the well-being of our employees and provides a $50-$100/month reduction in health insurance premiums for those participating in our wellness program, along with a $20 monthly reimbursement for wellness membership/activities.

Direct Deposit: Employees are required to have their paychecks deposited directly to their financial institution. Pay may be split between as many as three different bank accounts.  

Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Compensation.  

FMLA Leave, Jury Duty, Military Leave, and Crisis Leave is available. 

7 1/2 Paid Holidays:

  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • July 4th

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Eve closed at 12:00 p.m.

  • Christmas Day  

Paid Time Off (PTO): Full-Time employees accrue PTO time each pay period, with a total of 17 days earned in their first year. PTO increases one half-day each year thereafter, to a maximum of 27 days.  

Health Insurance: Regular PPO or High Deductible with HSA plans are available. LMEP pays approximately 75-83% of the premium for full-time employees, with family coverage available. LMEP contributes $1200 - $2400/year to an HSA for those electing a HDHP. This benefit is prorated for part-time employees working at least 24 hours per week. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the hire date.  

Voluntary Dental Insurance is available (no company contribution.)  

Voluntary Vision Reimbursement Plan is available (no company contribution.)  

Group Term Life Insurance: LMEP provides $50,000 including Accidental Death and Dismemberment. Additional voluntary is available, as well as voluntary dependent coverage. 

Long-Term Disability Insurance provided by LMEP.
